The goal of the PeroBase project is to establish a comprehensive database of information on the biology of Peromyscus accessible to both researchers and laypersons via the World Wide Web. The disciplinary scope of PeroBase will be broad, including genetics, systematics, evolution, ecology, behavior, anatomy, physiology, reproduction, and development.

We have designed the key data models for PeroBase. We are currently in the process of populating the database with data. In addition, we are developing/refining data editing tools. The present web site gives a preview of information that will be incorporated into the database. Read more about the key data models here.
